Established on January 19, 2022, Kumsi Raita Shakti Farmer Producer Company (FPC) Ltd. began its journey with 10 directors and 10 shareholders, united with a vision to empower farmers and promote sustainable rural livelihoods. In March 2023, the organization expanded its activities by launching an agricultural input business, providing farmers with quality seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection chemicals along with expert recommendations and guidance. During the financial year 2023–24, the company successfully enrolled 535 shareholder farmers and officially registered them with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), issuing share certificates to strengthen farmer ownership and participation.
In November 2023, we introduced our own brand KRS – Kumsi Raita Shakti, featuring Appemidi Pickle, Joni Bella, Honey and wood-pressed oils — all manufactured by women SHG members using locally sourced raw materials.
We support farmers through agri inputs and produce traditional healthy products like wood pressed oils, Appemidi pickle and Joni Bella.
